This means that if you are kind to people, you are a good person. For example, if you are walking by a stop and you see a woman that needs help with their groceries you will help her. Another example would be if you see a guy that can’t see is trying to cross the streets help him cross the street. If you see an old man trying to catch up the bus, run and try to stop the bus for her/him. If you see someone needs help, help him/her. Try 5to help someone because that is a good way to show kindness.

Thanksgiving Week

Last week I spend the week with my family in my house. My uncles and aunts came to my house to celebrate. We went to San Pedro and Santa Monica. We went to stores to buy stuff. We also ate shrimps and fish. For homework, I had to do a pamphlet for Health and a document for English. I met some nice people in Santa Monica that told us about a good restaurant. On wednesday I went to a soccer game and I was on one of the teams. On thursday my uncles came and we made a party to celebrate thanksgiving. On friday I was a home playing some videogames. On saturday we stayed home and relaxed. On sunday we went to church.

This means that if someone have good manners it will be a good person. If you are good to people you will have good manners. If you respect everyone no matter what, you are a good person. If you are polite to other people, you have good manners. If you are a nice person you will have good manners. On the other side, if you are not good you will not have good manners. If you try to be rude to someone, you are a bad person. If you are not respectful to other people, you will be a bad person. If you are not polite, you will be a bad person. If you want to be a good person, have good manners.

  Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

         

                                          

Thanksgiving wasn’t celebrated by every state of america until 1863, when Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that thanksgiving should be celebrated each november. He scheduled Thanksgiving for the final thursday in November, and it was celebrated like that until 1939, when Franklin D. Roosevelt moved it a week up during the great depression.

                               

Beginning in the mid-20th century and perhaps even earlier, the president of the United States has “pardoned” one or two Thanksgiving turkeys each year, sparing the birds from slaughter and sending them to a farm for retirement.

This means that if you know something is not right, don't do it. If you see your friends smoking, but you know that is not right, don't do it. If you see them drinking, but you know it’s not right, don't do it. If you try to do something dangerous but you know it’s wrong, don't do it. If you see someone doing something wrong, don’t do it because you can get the same punishment as them. If something it’s not true, don’t say it. If you say that someone is lying when they are saying the truth, don even say that they’re lying. If you say that something mean to someone, don’t even say it. If someone is saying the truth but someone says he’s no, tell them that they are lying and that he’s saying the truth. So, if it's not right, don’t do it, and if it's not true, don't say it.

This means that if you do the right, no matter if you win or lose, you are doing the right thing. If you decide to help someone from the other team who is hurt, it doesn’t matter who wins, what matters is that you help that person. If you are on a marathon and you see someone on the floor, it doesn’t matter if you lose, what matters is that you helped. If you see someone that is stuck in the middle of nowhere, you are going to help that person because is the right thing to do. If you are in a bike race, and you see someone crash, you are going to help because is the right thing to do. You always do the right, even if you lose or win.

This quote means that if you are responsible for yourself, you will be a responsible person. If you decide not to smoke you will get a hold of yourself, which means that you are being a responsible person. If you decide not to drink, you are being a responsible person. If you decide not to steal, you are been responsible for yourself. If you don’t do anything wrong, you are being responsible. On the other hand, if you are not responsible, you are a bad person. If you decide to smoke, you are not being responsible. If you decide to drink, you are being an irresponsible person. If you steal, you are being an irresponsible person. If you do wrong stuff, you are being an irresponsible person.

veterans day

Veterans day is originated as “Armistice Day” on November 11 for the end of world war 1. The congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and november 11 became a national holiday in 1938.

Veterans day is celebrated on november 11.

The purpose of veterans day is to tribute veterans (dead or alive) who served the military with honor on war and on peacetime.

It's important to honor veterans day because we honor people who risked their life to save people including us.

Some ways to show respect on veterans day is to:

1. Have a moment of silence.
2. Take off your hats.

         

Veterans day it's a day of honor and should continue to be celebrated because it’s a way to pay for what soldiers did for us. Also because they were brave and try their best to protect the people. They sacrificed for us to be in a safe country. Some are still fighting today for us to live in a good place. They didn’t retreat to be safe, instead they fought with all they had. Alot died while others didn’t. Some left their families and never saw them again. Everyone that was in war served for one purpose, to make this country safe. That is why we should honor veterans day.

   This are the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity:

1. Have courage to say no.
2. Have the courage to face the truth.
3. Do the right thing because it is the right thing.

If you admit that you were smoking, you are choosing to do the right thing. If you were drinking and you admit it, you are doing the right thing. This means that if you hang out with the good people, you won’t have any trouble. If you hang out with the wrong people, you can get into a lot trouble. If you hang out with people that do their work, you will be doing something right. If you hang out with people that don’t do their work, you will get in trouble. If you do your work with someone else that does his work, you will be choosing the right thing to do. If you don't do your work and you are drinking, you are choosing the wrong. If you decide to not smoke and do work with other kids that are good people, you are choosing the right. If you go to a bad friend's’ house to drink, you are doing the bad thing. If you are a good person, you will always hang with the wise persons. If you are a bad person, you will always hang out with the fools that will get you in trouble

This means that if you recreate as a good person, you will be a good person. If you are bad, you can recreate as good person. If you smoke, you can stop and become a better person. If you want to be a good person, recreate yourself. If you are not good, try to bee good. On the other hand, if you're bad you have to change to be a good person. If you try to be bad, don't try it.
