CLASS EVALUATION

1. I liked that we learned how to type with typing tutor. Also that we did CTR card check.
2. I didn't like that we had to write a lot. Also that we only got some free time.
3. some recommendations are: give us the last 5 minutes of class as free time, lower the sentence requirement for the student success statement, and have music playing for us.
4. A highlight for this class is  the CTR pictures around the room.
5. I tried my best in class to pass it. I did every work  you gave me in order to pass this semester.
6. Yes, i write in my life planning goals journal for 5 minutes everyday. I want to have at least 400 goals.
7. I am committed because it sounds nice and you can really be a good person and have fun.

The video we watched shows how cheating is wrong. A girl called another girl to ask her for the answers but she stopped and thought if she should give her the answer. She remember a day when a class was going to join medical school and the doctor just gave them the test and left the room. Most of the students started taking out papers and started cheating but a tall guy was brave enough to stand up and tell them, “i’m going to tell on the first person I see cheating because I have 3 kids and a wife that live on an upper apartment so I could come to medical school”. After that everyone put their papers away and finished the test without cheating. After she thought about it she said no.

This means that if you lie, you will always lie. If you lie about one thing, you will lie to cover up that lie. If they found out you lied, you will lie that that wasn’t a lie. You will always lie if you lie one time. Never lie so you don't start lying all the time. If your friend lies, don’t lie too. If your brother lies, don't lie like him. If you want to be a good person, don’t lie. Lying will make you a bad person. Always tell the truth.

The sting of the scorpion

Elder Patrick Kearon was a kid that got stung by a scorpion because he disobeyed his parents. He was an 8 year old kid when this happened. He was going to go for a walk and his parents told him, “wear shoes”. He didn’t followed their orders and went to walk with sandals. When he was walking he felt something pinched him but when he looked down, he noticed that he was stung by a scorpion. He called his parents and his parents took him to the hospital where they cured him. He learned a valuable lesson that day. I learned that you can get bad consequences from not following orders.

This means that if you are about to do something wrong, you decide to do the right. If you are about to go out with your friends to do something bad, you think about it twice. If you get involved in doing something wrong, don’t do it. If you are stealing, you will feel bad because you didn’t choose the right. If you want to do the right thing, don’t steal. Also, don’t get in fights. If you have bad friends, forget about them to do the right. If you try to do something bad, you stop and think about it. To do the right you have to be a person with manners. Always choose the right instead of the wrong.

This means that if you are around bad people, you will be like them. If you are alone, you will be able to work better. If you hang out with friends that smoke, you are not getting the education you need. If you hang out with people that drink, you will get in trouble too. If you hang out with friends that tag on the walls, you will get in trouble because you are involved in this. If you are with your friends and you steal, you will get in trouble too for stealing. On the other hand, if you hang out alone, you will not get in trouble. If you don’t hang out with friends that steal, you will not get in trouble. If you don’t hang out with friends that smoke, you will not be affected. That’s why you should always be a good person.

Yes, people can trust me to do what’s right. This benefits me because people know that they can trust me on anything.

This in my opinion is a yes,yes,yes because it’s the right thing to do. Also it describes your personality. If you do the right thing you will feel great.

Challenges Teens Face Today

1. Some issues we are dealing with today are:

1. Cyber bullying
2. Cyber stalking
3. Sexual activity
4. Drugs
5. Alcohol
6. Grades
7. Broken homes, etc

2.Today, i deal with stress because of grades in school. I also get stress a lot.

3.Being a CTR person helps me to not being stressed and to not get stressed in classwork or homework.

4.I can help them by giving them advice on how they can overcome this situation.

5.The greatest needs teens need today is support, love, and a bullying free zone.
