Chiropractors are health care providers who work with patients dealing with problems related to bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons. They usually work either in private practice or in health care clinics or facilities. Chiropractic care typically breaks down into a couple basic categories: routine manipulation and periodic adjustments.

Education:

DCs are educated in nationally accredited, four-year doctoral graduate school programs through curriculum that includes a minimum of 4,200 hours of classroom.

Demand for this Profession:

A chiropractic must have a chiropractic degree, which usually takes four years to complete.
