This means that if you don't follow the wrong crowd you will not get in trouble. For example, if you hang out with people that drink a lot in public, you can get in trouble for hanging out with them. Another example is if you have friends that smoke a lot you can get sick from it or go to jail for hanging out with them. Don't follow the wrong crowd. Alway stand alone. On the other hand, if you follow the wrong crowd you will get in trouble. For example if you stay away from people that drink you will be ok. If you don't hang out with people that smoke you won't get in trouble. If you are with the wrong crowd you will get in trouble. Always choose the right crowd or stand alone.
