This means that character is better than intellect. If you are smart but mean, you won't be high enough. If you don't try to be a good person you will not have character. If you're a mean person you are a person with no character. If you are good in school you have to work to be good in character. On the other hand if you have character you are a good person. If you are good in school and have good manners, you are a person with character. If you have manners you are a good person. If you work to have good manners, you will start being a good person. Always choose the right.
